What was a perfectly normal situation for you in the 80's-90's that the younger generation just can't relate to?

Just getting physically crushed by bullies.

Maybe it still happens these days, but teachers seem less tolerant of it now. My family moved every two or three years and I was always fairly new in schools, and fairly small to boot. The bullies would just crush me and every once in a while I'd see a teacher see us out of the corner of my eye. They'd just walk away.

Happened less in highschool, weirdly. It was more psychological bullying in highschool than physical (yay), but it was the 90's by then. Attitudes had changed, I guess. When people tell me the 80's must have been cool, I tell them to go fuck themselves. That shit was Cobra Kai all over the place.
