I think there are two different kinds of pick mes and one is more morally condemnable than the other but they both do a disservice to themselves. There's the pick me who builds her identity around appealing to men (e.g. by liking their hobbies, by trying to make male over female friends, by trying to be feminine or attractive or by being either overly sexual or adopting fetishes men want in women, by always advocating for men or asking people to take their perspectives etc.) and there's the pick me who's overly committed who wouldn't leave under any circumstances (this one was me prior to FDS).
