What pisses you off about new movies these days?

The formulaic casting approach is lazy. It's like they think if they make sure to include characters to tick enough boxes than audiences will be satisfied. When audiences don't embrace the film than the studios accuse them of being sexist, racist, homophobic or some other prejudiced. No, you need a good story, good script, good acting, and good flow for it to be engaging.

Also the over-reliance on CGI fights with big destruction in action movies, like in Man of Steel with Clark vs Zod. It's just boring to watch but is getting more and more common.

Lastly the whole ongoing "teenagers save the world" theme where main characters have to keep getting younger and younger. It's annoying.
