At what point do you consider yourself ghosted? How long with no contact?

Am guy, I agree with you. Unlimited text plans weren't a thing until I was in high school, so the idea that I have to attend to my phone every moment just to make sure I get back to your text is not familiar to me.

Second, texts are meant to be the buffer for your thoughts that a face to face or phone conversation won't allow, so a time delay is expected. And frankly, most face to face or phone conversations don't last all day every day, either.

Third, how often you're physically with someone is more important than the relationship you have with them textually. If ghosting after a day = you're gone, then I guaran-fucking-tee you those two people don't have a real life relationship with each other. Also, being with that person, physically, resets the 'ghosting.' I'm not ignoring you if we're hanging out.

Fourth, unless you're trying to schedule something with me, there isn't a deadline for my response. There are occasions where I get physically tired of texting, have to step away and then forget about the conversation, but if we're just shootin' the shit the person being 'ghosted' should have no issue double texting me...

... I say this because of a girl who REFUSED to double text, but accused me of not treating her as a priority because I wasn't trying to text her 24/7 (yet she simultaneously found it difficult to even try to hang out with me
