At what point does this end?

I think I understand now. Basically the only way China can interfere with what's going on inside HK is if the violence spills out of HK, or if HK begins influencing China's relationship with foreign interests. It really puts into perspective how the recent news of US silence on HK empowers China's silence toward HK?

I still have so many questions but it's nice to know where each power stands in a . It's scary how a few people can manage to disrupt the peace and safety of so many. My mind has a hard time processing how the police force can be so brainwashed by corruption. In my opinion, It sounds like Lam is trying to help China destroy HK's independence.

It makes me wonder if much of China outside HK even knows the scale of it. The fact that I can see raw footage from the streets of HK while in the US has me astonished and sad at how much control and influence CPC has over an entire country of people.
