I wish I knew the future two weeks down the road.

There's a maxim I try to follow, and it's definitely helped me prepare for this: "Expect the worst, hope for the best."

If you follow that, it's very likely things will get worse.

MGM and Wynn have shut down operations on the Strip, effectively shutting down half of the tourist draw to Vegas. Stores shelves throughout the city are currently stripped bare. Numbers wise, the US is currently on track to have breakouts similar to Italy. Homeland security has not ruled out the possibility of shutting down all domestic travel.

Are you for sure? No. But this being Vegas, I'd say the odds aren't looking good.

Do us and yourself a favor. Lay low, relax, and wait for this to blow over. Vegas California will still be here.

If nothing else, imagine your situation if you come down with the Coronavirus while you're here and need hospitalization.
