Instead of asking us dumbasses on Reddit (I include myself as one of them) why not consider the existence of Israel as proof of God's existence. He said, through Moses, that this is how we would know that He is God and that there is no other. Before they even entered the land God told the Israelites that if they went off and worshipped other Gods He would put them out of the land, scatter them to the 4 corners of the earth where they would have a very difficult time. They were put out. The Assyrians and Babylonians started the process. The Romans finished it. But He also told them that He would preserve them as a distinct people no matter to where they were scattered. He did. Where are the Hittites, Jebusites, Caananites and other ancient peoples? They are all assimilated into other cultures. Jews remain a a distinct culture today. Finally, He told them that in the later days, near the end of the age, He would restore them to their land. They would speak their original language. Interesting that after centuries the language of Israel is Hebrew. Hebrew wasn't the language spoken in that land for centuries before the birth of Christ. They spoke Aramaic, the Assyrian language. The restoration began with the Zionist movement around the turn of the 20th Century and accelerated after WW2. This is something we have seen with our own eyes. There are people living today who watched it happen and it is undeniable fact. In May 1948, a nation that had not existed as an independent nation for more than half a century BC was reborn.

God said, through the prophet Isaiah: Isaiah 46:10 "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come."

He said it. He did it. We watched it happen. Pretty convincing proof.
