Ergo Proxy- Cool world, but too dark and slow pace at the same time for me. Dropped at ep 8.

Kino's journey- Good, 7/10. Animation hasn't aged well imo, but Kino was cool. it also had too many bland episodes imo, and in a short episodic series, that just prevented me from falling in love with it, despite also having a few great episodes.

Mushishi- On the other hand, Mushishi S1 (admittedly it came out later than Kino, but still not that much later) still looks great to this day, a masterpiece that just knows how to set the atmosphere for each and every episodic story it has to tell, led by one of the best and coolest MC's Ginko. S2 was also great, but S1 had most of my favorite episodes.
