What do real Germans think of Donald Trump?

I had never really heard of him before the first Republican Debate and then continued to watch all debates because they were super entertaining.

I couldn't believe it when suddenly Ben Carson was leading in some polls, and found his interviews really amusing. I laughed that Marco Rubio looks like the guy from Navy CIS, and thought Donald Trump is so weird and stupid it's not even funny anymore. My favourite quote was when he suggested we should kill the whole family of terrorists because then there would be noone to take revenge.

I'm a german-austrian dual citizan; we have some really weird politicians in Austria and the debates there are much more entertaining than the german ones. But that was really another Level.

I will never understand why the hell he won. Not why he won against Hillary, but why he was the republican candidate in the first place. I think he is a complete attention seeking idiot who has never been in a position where people openly disagree with him. His twitter rants, him attacking journalists and other people personally and spreading conspiracy theories is super dangerous.

Having said that, I'm sure you will find some people who think he is great and a lot of people who don't care at all and are fed up with him being on the front page of german newspapers so often.
