Not having someone rug pull you. My serious ex from 6 months ago was excitedly talking about getting engaged this year, kids, and even took me to the plot of land where she wanted to build our house. A few days later, she broke up with me over text, suddenly didn't think we were right with no reason given, and then blocked me on everything. Even when I respected her decision, I still became the villain because I just wanted to know wtf caused her to flip so suddenly. But honestly? Fuck people

Safe to say, I've already told my parents, therapist, and friends I'd honestly rather be single in life then have to deal with someone flipping on me again because that shit truly fucked me up more than anything else had in my life. I'm feeling great now, but my feelings about being single hasn't changed one bit
