Who’s teaching help people live their best life... Gospel means good story. The Bible is a good story about Jesus’ life and his teachings like the golden rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. The fact that he died on the cross for everyone’s sins was to accomplish 3 things:

1.) To establish that all who follow Jesus’ teachings will have eternal life no matter who you are or what previous mistakes you’ve made.

2.) To show that GOD loves us so much he sent his only son to die for us

3.) To do away with human/animal sacrifice (which was practiced during this time) so that no one would feel the need to kill an innocent life to pin another’s sins on as Jesus was the ULTIMATE sacrifice for all eternity.
