what’s an unexpected lesson that covid taught you?

I’ve had COVID twice, first time in 2020 was mild, I never took it seriously until now and I feel bad for judging people getting vaccines and wearing masks. I recently recovered from it last month after attending a New Year’s Eve concert in DC (Above and Beyond) it was packed, I got it from the venue obviously so did a bunch of other attendees.

My temp was 105, couldn’t even walk, my breathing was horrible along with my coughing. It made me depressed and I’m still recovering from the depression it gave me.

The lesson it taught me was to be more considerate of others that I can actually kill. I am very careful when I go in public, it’s still in the world and we need to help each other and not be brainless idiots like I was in the past about it
