What’s the biggest culture shock you ever experienced?

I live a very nonalcoholic Swedish life, but have never realized how privileged I am until I went on a trip to Moçambique. Me and 4 other swedes (I was the only male) lived together with the locals in a (from my perspective) very poor village. One day, we went for a walk and accidentally dropped a ball, and in 5 seconds every kid in the village was there to play with it, and I have never seen children this happy, just for a ball we dropped. We let the keep the ball, my mind was totally blown away since I realized how privileged I am, and I felt so good the whole week for letting them keep the ball and enjoy playing with it. Also being the only white man in a village where no one has ever seen a white male is quite an experience.
