What’s the biggest salary bump you got from job hopping and how did you make it happen?

It's amazing. I've only worked in public and both companies had great work-life balance. My last job was only 40hrs/week but I had never ending overnight travel. I'm a homebody and that really sucked. Outside of bad weather, the old job didn't allow remote on office days even though we did it through for 3 months in 2020. On the flip side, my new firm is remote as much as you want. Managers aren't micromanagers and we have literal flex scheduling. Just be available during the work day, get your hours in, and get your work done. Busy season sucks but at the end of the year, we just need to work 2080. I could easily make more elsewhere but I make comparable to Big 4 pay in a low cost of living area. Basically, pros and cons as always but the pros significantly outweigh the cons for me.
