In 2nd or 3rd grade a friend and I was sent to the vice principal for participating in a "food fight", which in reality was someone grabbing a sausage patty off my tray and throwing it at someone else, neither people being my friend. When I sat in the office chairs I folded my legs so I was sitting on them, and the VP asked if that's how I sit on the furniture in my house. I was a pretty small kid so I sat like that literally whenever possible to keep my eye level as high as possible. I said yes and explained it to him. We both got a WEEK of lunch/recess detention. On day 6, which was the last day before winter break, the guy has the nerve to "let us go early since it's the holidays"...

The only real damage was inflicting a mentality of making it hard for authority figures to have me respect them.
