What’s good favorite metagame to play and why?

Any of the regional dex VGCs. Doubles just feels like the way the game is meant to be played, in terms of balance and strategy. And as for the specific format within doubles, they're not legendary/restricted years where there's severe and inherent imbalance, they're not NatDex years where there's 800 cheesy things to prep for. It's a nice number of Pokemon that you can familiarise yourself with and prep consistently for, but enough to be creative with. VGC17 was quite a slow format for my taste, and the Tapus were a bit OTT. So VGC14 has to be mine. It's a great dex, has a good number of megas allowed (most weren't broken back then, and every team has an MKhan counter so it's not that popular), and has a ton of QoL changes including the fairy typing. TLDR: VGC14.
