What’s a gun you enjoy but is generally disliked?

XDs is genuinely nice to shoot. I think they get a bad rep due to cringe marketing from Springfield.

I also think it's the best implementation of grip safety of any gun ever made. Including the regular XD.

If more people tried it, they'd learn to love it.

Inb4 not necessary. I'd agree with that if you can get it properly holstered. But you might be in a situation where you have to ditch it in some suboptimal receptacle like a pocket, bag or zap carry. Maybe it's my growing up in a warzone paranoia driving my thinking. And theirs probably, I grew up right near where XDs are made...

This one is so seamless that might as well have the grip safety. They got rid of it on the new hellcat that was designed for US market so they got rid of features not popular on American forums. XD was not designed with Americans in mind at all, and XDs was, but it carried over a lot from the XD.

Also XD is a stupid name.

The chamber indicator is awesome, you can use it in complete dark unlike the little peephole on the hellcat.
