What’s higher ranked Green Beret or 75 Ranger Regiment?

You not understanding what everyone is trying to say, but from what you wrote you're not too far off. The name of the Green Berets is literally the US Army Special Forces as the unit they are apart of is quite literally called the 1st Special Forces Regiment under the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne). So only the Green Berets are Special Forces just like only the US Navy SEALs are SEALs and only the Rangers are Rangers. It's just the name of the unit not a blanket term like in other nations. In the US, Special Operations Forces is the general term for all elite units under SOCOM. Which encompasses Army Rangers, Army Special Forces, Marine Raiders, Navy SEALs etc. Also specifically there are only two Tiers under SOCOM. The third Tier encompasses a myriad of non Special Operations Forces like the Army's 82nd Airborne Division or the Marine Reconnaissance Battlions etc.
