What’s the incentive to getting an A in college?

Graduate school, internships, future jobs, and certain programs. You’re probably thinking you won’t go to grad school and that a bachelors degree is enough. Once you get to college, you’ll soon realize more and more people need a masters degree to go into their chosen career. Before anyone starts saying that jobs don’t look at GPA which is true for the majority of jobs, but not all. Most of the jobs I am aiming for not only look into college GPA but high school transcripts. Internships also ask about GPA and look into your transcripts, while internships help students get jobs once they graduate. The average GPA for lot of the programs I want to apply for after undergraduate require a 3.8 on a 4.0 scale, so GPA is very important.
