I’ve reported an assistant principal at the (public) middle school I work at (as the psychologist) for dragging two different autistic kids down the hallway in headlocks.
I told him to his face both times that I reported him and he absolutely wasn’t ok with it. The second time he went two months without speaking a word to me because he was so angry.
One kid barely managed to gasp “I can’t breathe” and the other couldn’t get words out.
As he was doing it I was behind him screaming “stop! Hold him differently!” or some variation on that. A couple others witnessed as well. We all should have just called CPS. But we trusted the higher ups to handle it.
Literally TODAY he grabbed a violent kid to escort him to an office and I watched him switch his hold to the correct one when he saw me there. So maybe I helped?
