Pretty much everything my parents do. My parents are prime examples of "there but not there" parenting.
I'm 27 so I'm pretty over any animosty I may have toward them in regards to my upbringing. It's just not worth being upset over when I turned out alright for the most part, but we just have no real relationship. Yet, they still give me shit for not spending time with them and scrutinize what I do do with my time. I spent my whole childhood trying to do things with them but they just did their 9-5 and spent their evenings sitting in front of their computers/tv. So that's what I did. Now here I am as an adult and that's what I'm still doing and they just poke fun at me for it whenever I'm around.
