What’s one genuine issue in your favorite Metroid game?

I love Zero Missiom, I will go to bat for Zero Mission, it was my introduction to the series and I still think it serves as an incredible introduction to Metroid and Metroidvanias in general for new players… that being said, most of Zero Mission’s sequence breaks are dumb, inconvenient, insignificant, or way too obvious, and almost feel like afterthoughts that they shoved in last minute rather than organic results of the game design like the ones in Super and Dread are.

It makes it less fun to revisit than other games in the series, because while you CAN do things like flipping the order you fight Kraid and Ridley… there isn’t really a great reason to.
