What’s the reason why the World Series doesn’t have the same popularity as the Super Bowl? Where did MLB go wrong?

Because it’s the most important game.

Picture it like this, as a kid, your house looks a certain way all year. The people you hang out with act a certain way with you all year. All the way up until the most important day of the year; your birthday. On that day, your house may get decorated, friends and family call you and show up to your house. They give you gifts, you get cake, everyone’s nice to you and wants to make sure your day is perfect. You might even go on a vacation to the Bahamas.

It’s still the same life. But for one day, you want to make it feel special. It wouldn’t feel very special if birthdays were the day people just say “happy birthday” to us.
