What’s something that happened to you in your childhood that you’re still mad about?

Wow, after reading all of the other replies, I feel like we are doing much better than I thought. I think I am possibly very sensitive about the issue and that's not a bad thing. We've been trying, and it sounds like that's more than most have experienced. My daughter feels loved and secure and wanted and I know this from psych evaluations and group therapy I've been taking her to for ADHD.

I'm still glad I saw this, and the replies. It's going to actually make a difference in our family because I let my husband read it too and he got choked up. I know we will do better and do our best to spare both of our kids the devastating rejection. Thank you.
