What’s something wrong you saw your parents doing as a kid, but didn’t realize it was wrong until you got older?

Parents fought a lot when i was a kid a lot of years of my mom yelling at my dad over things I didn't quite understand. My mom was always angry and would take her anger out on us. Yelling, hitting throwing things we always racked it up as mom's crazy.

It wasn't till after college when I moved back home for 6 months before moving back out again did I realized how bad things had gotten. There was always a dark fucking elephant in the room during family dinners. Fighting was non stop every night. Turns out my mother had found text messages, later uncovering photographs and nudes from some lady in her 30s (mom's in her 60s) that date back to 3 years ago. There were even photos of him at the amusement park with his gf during her cancer treatments.

My mom sadly lacked the conviction and courage to divorce my dad. He still denies any wrongdoing to this day and won't admit to infidelity. You pretty much need to catch him dick in gf before he'd consider admitting it. He's lost all my respect, it's tough seeing him day to day at work (family business)
