What’s that story you’ve never been able to tell?

I work with my dad, he's my supervisor and boss of mailing logistics and I'm pretty much just a average worker that wraps up mail, nothing unique I say, I just follow what he tells me to do and I do it.

One day, we got off of work and we're ready to go back home. My dad approach the green light with some heavy traffic in all lane. We saw a truck next to him stopped completely at the green light with the other vehicles honking at the car to go. My dad try to look left but the other vehicles blocked his view. As we slowly we're gonna pass it, my dad stopped at the green light with the truck still blocking his view. Right when I was gonna say why he stopped, a car went high-speed at the intersection and smash the other car to my right as it passed. My heart stopped completely and the truck slowly went forward. My dad then drove forward and I just peer at the window with the car demolished it's front. I didn't see the person inside to both vehicles but I remember on the ride home we just stood quiet for a good half a hour. He didn't told anything to my mom and I just didn't told anything to my gf. The day just went on. I just can't imagine the situation I be in if he didn't notice the truck stop at the green light.
