What’s the stupidest/funniest character concept you have played?

When we started, I seemed to be playing a fairly nervous warlock. He seemed I'll suited to adventuring, and had the odd habit of going "uh, um, uh..." a lot before suddenly saying the perfect thing.

During the first adventure, he panicked, running away from an ambushing beast right into a deadly spike trap.

There was a long sigh seemingly out of nowhere, and a disembodied voice said, "Whelp, there goes that one, be right back."

Within an hour, a young, smarmy, alcoholic of a warlock showed up claiming to be there to fulfill the last warlock's contract.

He too, met an unpleasant end, eliciting a string of vile obscenities from the voice.

This continued on and on, with commoners with delusions of grandeur, crazy witches, even an old goblin riding a pig (with a "sorry, it's all I could find out here").

The party finally confronted the voice. It turned out to be an Imp, who was recruiting warlocks and offering his services as a familiar.

Eventually, Glisgol the Imp tired of the random nobodies he was using getting all the credit for his greatness. He decided that he would be the adventurer, and would have the warlock be his familiar.

He found a suitably subservient minion, and began his life as a "true adventurer".

Throughout the campaign, Glisgol changed. Being separated from his demonic origins, he began to experience new things, like compassion and concern for the well-being of others. He became a hero.

Glisgol was as bold as he was cunning, but eventually he slipped up and an enemy fired a blast at him that would certainly destroy him. Elward, his human familiar who had served him loyally all this time, dove in front of the blast, sacrificing his life for his master's.

The sadness and anger Glisgol channeled into getting revenge were nothing compared to how he felt when he realized that Elward, having signed away his soul to be Glisgol's warlock, would be doomed to spend an eternity in hell at the mercy of Glisgol's enemies.

Glisgol rallied the rest of the party, and they went on a quest into hell itself to get Elward back.

(it definitely started as a silly character idea, at least)
