What’s up with Infiniti?

They’re product line is either dated or has notable flaws. It shows in the poor resale values & high rebates/incentives needed to move product

Their best product in the Q50/60 uses a interior from the 2014 Q50, that was a bit of a miss even back then. It’s also using the same 7-speed transmission debuted in the 2010 G37 with no manual option like the G37 offered. Until 2016 when it got the 3.0T/TT it was arguably a worse G37 sedan.

The SUV line up hasn’t been particularly noteworthy either. The GLA QX30 rebadge was a miss, the variable compression engine in the QX50 didn’t seem to be a hit either.

At least there’s optimism in the QX60 redesign & ditching its CVT.

The depreciation makes them solid used cars given the reliability is typically decent. I’ve had good experiences with my G35 & G37
