Went back home to get my shit together after failing in San Diego. Got reintroduced to my childhood crush except at age 31 she was married with 2 kids. We opened a restaurant together and always hung out after work. My good friend kept telling me there was strong chemistry between us and I blew it off saying “we’re just friends! She’s married with kids. She doesn’t like me like that.” After 18 months I moved again, this time to Vegas. Thought about her every day and she kept popping up in my dreams. We kept in touch and would talk and text here and there. After being here for just over 3 years I went home with the intention of telling her I had strong feelings for her. She struck first and said exactly what I was going to say. We’ve been having an affair for well over 6 months now and are madly in love. The only thing keeping her from leaving home is her 2 kids who she loves dearly. Basically waiting for them to get older so we can start a life together.

Lots of sexual tension that we blew off as a platonic relationship despite being told about the chemistry from others. Her husband even witnessed it and specifically told her to never be around me. I believe it is too late now.
