It’s very region specific I think. I started at $44k 7 years ago in the Midwest US for a corporate trainer role. That’s was actually higher than normal in my State in terms of starting pay for a job that doesn’t require some sort of specialized degree. In much of the country you’re going to see less than that. The median starting salary in the US is about $55k. That means a lot of people are making less than that, especially people not in HCOL areas.
People on here tend to bullshit their pay on here. I always find it suspicious when people claiming to make 200k are asking Reddit dumb career advice. A lot of it is people play-acting.
