What’s the worse thing you’ve come home to?

It really depends on a lot of things, which is way too vague a statement to be helpful I know. But everyone is different and responds to therapy differently. I've had therapists I really liked and therapists I really didn't, and it depends on their style and their approach to therapy and of course the type of thing I'm dealing with at the time, too.

For what it's worth, I'm glad you're going even though you don't like it. But try and figure out what you don't like about it--pay attention to what you're feeling when you're there and when you leave, and try and decide whether it's an aversion to this particular therapist, or to therapy in general. If the former, try a different therapist! If the latter--definitely express those feelings to your therapist. It may help them determine how better to accommodate your case.
