What’s the worst date you ever had?

I was in a semester abroad program in the UK, coming from a much warmer country.

I've met this girl through a mutual friend at the university club. We hit it off great, had a wonderful night, and ended up kissing, but that was it. Tried messaging her after, but she was dismissive and it didn't go anywhere. It bothered me because I didn't know what happened.

Few weeks later, we meet at a house party with the mutual friend and resume talking, great chemistry again, but this time nothing happened. He invited us to another party the next day, and both said yes. I messaged her the next day, confirming if she was still up for it. She said our friend and the group who were going all gave up, had other plans. But she'd still go, just with me. We discussed about if we were going "as friends", as we were originally as a group, or on a date. I think I said something in the lines of, "if you want to, we can go as friends, but I'd rather it'd be a date". She answered "ok, let's go!".

As cheap students, most people I hang out with were used to just skip bringing any coat to the clubs, so as not to pay the £2 fee to store it. We'd just endure the cold till we got inside the cab/bus and then the club itself. I went to her uni accomodations, who were very close to mine, just on a shirt and trousers. We ordered a taxi from there, no big deal. It was staring to get cold, colder than I've experienced before, but was still ok. I don't feel that cold comparing to people from where I'm from. She had a very thick coat and scarf on though.

We arrive near the place, it was in a square with pedestrian only streets, the cab couldn't get much closer. We didn't know exactly where it was and started asking around. The chilling sensation started to bother me. Luckily we found the entrance and the line was quite small. All seemed good. We arrive at the entrance, security guy asks for our IDs.
