What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever been in?

this may be boring but to me it wasn't: my wart treatment.

consisted of spraying liquid nitrogen on them to freeze them to death (done by dermatologist), then repeatedly adding salicylic acid at home and covering it up airtight. After the tissue dies you scrub it off with some pumice stone, sometimes you could pick bigger chunks and pull them out. Then the acid is put on again. Freezing once a week, acid daily

The freeze was painful but manageable. The ripping out part was unpleasant but at least it felt like progress. But pouring acid in my own, selfmade and brand new flesh holes stung like a motherfucker. And I had to do it daily. For years. Fucking hated doing it because it made me feel weak and frail.

So in my case: not the intensity but the repetition was absolute shit
