What’s the worst thing about being male?

So this is coming from an Asian American female's perspective: 1. Do you get racist comments? Just the other day, I received two offensive racist comments. Are you constantly made aware of your race? Do you always feel like an outsider? Do people ask you "Where are you from?" and don't believe you when you say "Pennsylvania" and ask "No like where are you REALLY from?" despite your perfect American accent. Or shit like "Wow you speak great English" 2. On top of that, I don't get any benefit for the racism I endure. In fact, (so I am currently applying to medical school), it's actually HARDER for me as an Asian to be admitted because we are overrepresented. But for white people, they keep the numbers high. You probably won't want to, but all the stats are on the internet for you to see. 3. Do you have the pressure to have babies before a certain age? Does society think you are worthless after a certain age? 4. Do people ever tell you "I know you're a leader, but you don't LOOK like a leader like that guy over there." 5. So since I can only talk about medicine since I want to be a doctor, I sometimes hear "Doctors should be old white males" 6. I shadowed a female surgeon who was leading a bunch of students, she explained to the white male patient the treatment, and he responded to a white male student "So how'd she do?" 7. Idk I'm just throwing this out there, but whenever I like a white guy, I worry if he is into asians. Or if a white guy likes me, I have to wonder if he likes me for ME. I get hit on a lot using really ignorant racist comments ("what are you doing this weekend? You don't need to study because you're asian!") Do you have to deal with this?

Anyhoo, yeah this is just stuff I came up with on the spot. Do you go through any of that? If you don't, then I'd say you are privileged.

Life is not fair and we are unequal as soon as we are born. Sad reality. :(

Hope you have a great night :)
