What’s your biggest fail when it comes to online dating?

I matched with a gorgeous Hispanic girl on Tinder. Chatted a bit and almost immediately propositioned me to come over and drink beer and play Gears of War... at 10PM at night. I figured if I was going to be murdered, this was the perfect bait, but obviously I was going to take that chance.

It ended up being legit, we got along really well, and had some of the best sex in my life for about a month until we beat the Gears of War campaign - at which point she fucking ghosted me.

My fail is that in hindsight I think I had treated it as more of a casual FWB situation and I think she was actually looking for a relationship, and I failed to make a move on that.

I'm now very happily engaged too another wonderful Tinderella, but I do sometimes wonder what might have happened if I had put more emphasis on "Friend" than "Benefits".
