It was a beautiful, clear and crisp winter day. Snow on the ground with clear blue skies and sunshine. We climbed on top of a fairly high hill near where we lived, together with our dog. From the top you could see the town and the surroundings and it all looked just perfect. There was no-one else around but someone had left some cardboard boxes up there. On a whim, we decided to squish one of them in order to make an improvised sled. We got on it and started sliding down the hill together with her! The doggo was one of them fast sprinting ones, got excited and chased after us, caught up and jumped on her lap on full speed and we all just slid down the whole way to the bottom of the hill! We were laughing with tears in our eyes. For some reason it all just clicked to make this beautiful moment of all three of us doing something silly and spontaneous and important successfully! Not together anymore but I'm sure it'll be one of the last things I'll remember.
