After a shit ton of dating, I’ve realized that I want someone super low key. The guy I most recently dated (broke it off because I’ll be moving) was a great fit for me: blue collar, nonmaterialistic, treated his mom like gold, would say shit r/dating would find super cringey (e.g. “You are just wow, amazing/beautiful” lol), and considered working and finishing the day by walking on the beach ideal.

I’ve been with the uber ambitious type who was always chasing for more, and that shit is tiring. The gogogo personality just isn’t for me. I just want to be able to hold my guy’s hand, cuddle up next to him, talk or stay silent, and feel like that truly is enough.
