What is a safe and relatively painless way to lose my hearing.

Did you look into misophonia? It is when specific soft sounds(any mouth noise, clicking, tapping, metal, harsh "s" like a valley soccer moms voice) cause feelings of rage, panic, terror, anxiety and basically every bad feeling is conjured up with a massive fight or flight response at the very onset of these specific sounds(or even sights) Like a sweet person like me wanting to curb stomp somebody. Obviously you'd never act on these feelings, but it doesn't make them any less real. There have been several theories why this disorder occurs, some say it's connectors in your brain wrong, chewing triggers seem to be the hallmark of this disorder, so some have theorized that it is an evolutionary trait, to sense predators, but again, a bunch of theories, usually the symptoms start at puberty, not before. Here are some videos that express what I am talking about. In the first video, it shows the invoulentary response to the trigger sounds. The second one talks about a girl that suffers, and her mom's voice is what I wanted to highlight. It triggers me like a mofo. https://youtu.be/rlWHLx9PTE4
