What salaries should I actually expect?

Former international student here.

The thing with those mid-range jobs (and below), is that on top of mid-range salary, they also come with mid-range benefits.

That means they have no interest in sponsoring foreigners 90% of the time.

You'll quickly realize most of the opportunities available are largely on the upper end. But that also means you need to meet their expectations/needs or go back home empty-handed.

I think that its safe to assume your base salary will be above $100k for those types of roles. The upper end of new grad total comp has a very long tail and can balloon up from stock appreciation. But regardless, as long as you can do well in interviews, you should expect decent ROI on your investment.
