What is the scariest/creepiest thing that has happened to you?

When I was young I lived in a very small town. Our family wasn't popular and the neighbors kids hated me and my siblings, but they were older so they never hurt them directly. They dumped it all on me when my siblings weren't around. So,you can imagine,I had very few friends at that point of my life. I was maybe was around 10.

Home was the best. I felt safe and secure.

I remember the night,it was winter, and we were all half asleep already when we heard faint 'thumps'. My sister is the first to notice. Then me and my brother get up . They were throwing snowballs at our windows. We lived next to a little forest/park,and they are hiding out there throwing snowballs. But not just snowballs. The first stone hits the window. The second. Then glass is cracking, splintering,I start to cry,my brother is holding me so I don't get hurt. My parents are awake now and they say they will call the police. Stones are hitting my brother now. They are aiming at me. I know it.

My sister is so angry she wears nothing but a pyjama but she sprints into the darkness ,through the snow, screaming she will murder them.

There is shouting, and my brother runs after her. I want to follow but my mother stops me.

More shouting. I am not hurt but I am so afraid. My sister could get hurt. My brother. If they have weapons, what then? There are definitely not only two of them. This could end badly.

Turns out my sister was fine. She mauled one of the guys right into the face and scratched another very nasty before my brother found her and they ran away. He says to this day he has never seen a more terrifying thing than my petite sister throwing hisses and punches at two older teenage guys, holding one straight by the neck against a tree.

They didn't dare to come to our house after that. But they still hurt me and my family. One time they caught my cat and sprayed it pink. The poor thing was hurting. My sister got at them again and broke one guys nose. She got charged while the animal abuser just paid a fee .
