What is Sheraden like?

Well that was fun. I drove into Fairywood on the abandoned highway project, past a bunch of warehouses and an Amazon fulfillment center. Turned onto Broadhead Fording and entered the neighborhood. There were people around, but the homes were quite dilapidated and run down. There's only a half dozen streets of houses. Then you pass the abandoned park, equipt with an abandoned swimming pool and community center. Everything is surrounded by chain link fence. Across the street are these huge warehouses you can't see from the road, protected by chain link fencing with barbed wire at the top. As you keep on Broadhead Fording, you pass these pretty sizeable apartment complexes in this middle of nowhere area.

Coming out of the valley on Wind Gap Rd you can see how immense the warehouses are from the top of the hill.

Wind Gap seemed ok. The housing stock was your average Pittsburgh fare. There's a large park and the area is pretty flat so I guess you could walk places if there was anything to walk to. All in all seemingly quiet area and not too seemingly crappy. Then you cross into McKees Rocks, which is the dump I remember it being from the few times I've driven through.
