What Shin should do when he becomes a general?

Of course I know SHK is not an idiot(he is my favourite character) but that doesn't change the fact that he is back at Kanyou so he only has limited. It was TOU not SHK who turned down Ouhon's promotion to general because he wanted him to experience being a 5k commander. So my point is proven people at Kanyou go off limited info. Another example is just last chapter where everyone at Kanyou didn't know why Ousen was attacking the cities around Gyou. In their eyes since they have lost Retsubi but still want to continue fighting, they should go on an all out attack on Gyou before they lose supplies. For the last time if Shin hadn't killed Kanki's men he would be a general right now, Mouten said it himself. But if he was a general right now would you be satisfied? Would you think it is deserved? This is where all the Shin hate is coming from. We want him to show that he is capable of being a general but right now he is not doing that and with the competition he has in this war(Mouten, Ouhon, Ousen, Kanki, Yotanwa), all of these people are great strategists, personally i don't feel his knowledge/instincts will improve greatly in this arc. The only thing i see happening is him being better at using the glaive.
