What is the shortest amount of time you've held a job?

3 hours.

I was meant to be working in a greenhouse. I interviewed with the owner and was hired on the spot. My first day, I showed up and no one was there. I waited for 2 hours (after a 2 hour bus ride, I was in the process of buying a car) before the owner showed up. He unlocked the grounds and showed me the greenhouse, which was a huge mess. The place was 3 acres, so there were a lot of plants, but a lot of what I saw were moldy, dying, and falling over. He then told me to look around while he took plants out of a van. They were rental plants from a hotel that decided they didn't like his services. We went on a house call and I watered a lawn for 2 hours. While we were there, he took a phone call with someone and talked about how poorly his business was doing. He told me he would text me with a time to meet him the next day, saying maybe it would be early in the morning. It got to midnight and he hadn't, even after a reminder from me, so I texted him and said I was looking for something with consistent hours. He never answered and I never got paid.
