What should I choose: LSR or Ashoka Uni for BA Econ (Hons)? [12th grader with 99%]

That makes sense. For a lot of people who went to DU, it was the only thing they seriously considered because of the way higher education in India works. Ashoka students are more likely to have had to sit down, weigh their options and think things through. Also, it's easier to say your college is the best if you have a list of hundreds of alumni and their amazing career trajectories to back that up. That's something Ashoka just can't have so early on.

I disagree with everyone who says Ashoka is a lot better if you want to go abroad, though. The LSR to LSE pipeline is real and you'll find the guidance and opportunities you need at LSR (except of course that fourth year). If a significantly higher % of Ashoks students go abroad for a Master's, it's because they're much more likely to be financially able to do so in the first place.

If I sound like I've spent too much time researching/thinking about this stuff for someone who also hasn't started their first year, it's because I have. I (not entirely voluntarily) made a college decision so spectacularly bad last year that I've basically been forced to start over again. So I've spent a lot of time figuring these things out.
