What backend language would be most appropriate? As you mentioned earlier that SQL would be appropriate, which is all good, but then you said it was shit. So...? And also, just for my own understanding, would the backend language be the thing that transfers the image to the webserver - essentially being the component of the programme that connects the app to the webserver. IN WHICH CASE (and I'll sum up here), would learning Objective-C alongside insert language here be enough to build a SIMPLE, instagram-esc clone?
