Actually, I'm really hoping you read this, but we music producers don't have the perspective the average listener has. We've learned and listened too much and grow out of touch to what things the average listener does/doesn't hear.

You really are much better off saying the things you already said like "this sounds like you're climbing down a wire into a tunnel, and a lot of glimmering lights around you are egging you on to do it," or "this loop is too repetitive but I like its warmth".

Why?

Because you have an unaltered perspective that 90% of all other listeners have and they're going to end up being our main audience no matter what. Our perspectives have shifted and sometimes we may be too hyper critical as producers, so it helps to have someone else's perspective that isn't so distorted.

Really hope you read this cause I looked at those notes you took, that's great and all, but I'm sorry that's probably not what he's looking for.
