Haha. I just made a post about this so I’ll paraphrase. Spoilers if you haven’t seen S5 plus of ‘Shameless’.

‘Shameless’. I inhaled the first four seasons over the course of four days and loved it. The characters, story, and plot lines were all so interesting and well done. The biggest positive being Ian and Mickey’s relationship in season 4. Then the beginning of S5 shuts that down completely and they break up. Also the storylines and characters became uninteresting and repetitive. The charm of the show to me just disappeared completely in a couple of episodes.

Ian and Mickey get back together in S9. FOUR YEARS LATER! I’m not watching all that infuriating character wrecking shit in between. I went from being in love and obsessed with this show to hating it all in the span of four days.
