I will give you an example. I have always considered myself left-wing and liberal. I never gave a fuck about race, sexuality, religion, and was (and still am) extremely pro-choice. I went to college, and suddenly my peers (white and non-white) were constantly bombarding me with racist remarks because I am white but then told me it's impossible for it to be racism because you can't be racist against white people. I think that is utter bullshit and I don't buy it for a second, I dgaf what some propagandist college "professor" says. As my college career continued on, I could not go a single fucking day without someone having to make some hyper-sensitive little hissy fit about race or sexuality and dragging it into every single aspect of life. They're obsessed. I felt attacked, I felt threatened, and most of all I felt I had never done anything to deserve this hate. I am no longer in college but still I come across people who casually say they hate white people or white people are evil or white people are basic or white people are the bane of existence. I do not want to see that kind of ideology grow any larger and get violent, so of course I am going to side with the people who want to stop that shit, because I do too. Why would I support a bunch of racists gallivanting around under the guise of progressivism? And the worst part is, these brainwashed idiots think not wanting people to be racist toward you for being white, is racist. Not being left-wing doesn't automatically make you a racist. I still don't have a problem with people's skin colors or sexualities, I just want them to stop having a fucking problem with mine, so yes I am going to support the party against the party that is shitting these people out into the world. If I have to sacrifice some of my other beliefs in order to support it, so be it, because for me right now this is the number one issue I am personally concerned with and the others can take a back seat.
