What small thing makes you automatically distrust someone?

If they play the role of perpetual victim in every facet of their life.

Immediately aggressive or judgemental towards people of other races but don't you dare accuse them of being racists.

I'm brown skinned but I live and work in the suburbs so I see this on both sides. People from my past immediately distrust anyone white and assume any sleight (real or perceived) is racially driven (People can't just be assholes) and if no sleight has been perceived its just a matter of time before it happens. It takes years to be considered "one of the good ones"

The opposite is true in the burbs. Not being African American some folks assume I'm cool with hearing jokes or questionable views about racial stereotypes. I'm supposed to assume they don't think the same way about me when I'm not present? The few times I've pressed for details on why I'm not grouped in with these views I've heard stuff like "Well you're caucasian" "You own your own home!" just stupid shit that makes no sense.
