What small thing makes you automatically distrust someone?

  • proclamations of hating drama
  • proclamations of being a great parent
  • someone who has no vices. I doesn't need to be substances. It could be sexual. Or some unsavory entertainment choice. Or food indulgence.
  • when everything is someone else's fault.
  • blatant, obvious hypocrisy. We're all contradictory at some point. But some more than others.
  • people obsessed with how "stupid" other people are.
  • people who treat service workers like ass
  • people who are puritan. I mean this in a generic way. Religious types would fall into this, but so would much of the cultural left.
  • people who buy into the mainstream thought - politics, culture, a little too much AND people who reject mainstream thought to such an extent they give us a sense of out of control anger and instability bubbling beneath the surface. one is disconnected from individual thought. The other is disconnected from their fellow man.
